Program Offers More Soccer, Fun & Technical Focus

The Rec Plus Program  offers more for families looking for more technical instruction focused on fun and improving skill.
Program Structure:

  • Open to all 1st through 3rd Grade Boys and Girls
  • Players placed in gender specific training groups led by BYSC staff trainers
  • Two, 75-minute training sessions each week
  • Placement on a Kicker's team by age group which will play games on Saturday
  • Good transition program for those considering traveling soccer
  • $160 registration fee

Rec Plus Schedule

All sessions take place at Gene C. Kelly Youth Playfield

Weekday Sessions will run from 6 to 7:15 p.m.
Saturday Kicker's games will take place from 10 to 11 a.m.

Kickers Games April - 29, May 6, 13, 20, June 10, 17, 24
Rec Plus Training Sessions May -
 1, 3, 8, 10, 15, 17, 22 and 24
June - 5, 7, 12, 14, 19, 21, 26, 28

Looking For Parent Volunteers

The Rec Plus Program features a number of volunteer opportunities for parents to enhance their child's soccer season.  We could use your help to make your family's soccer experience the best possible. You can volunteer for any of the positions below by emailing us.

Volunteer Positions:

  • Team Manager - manage the communication among the players in your training group to make sure all families know of upcoming activities .
  • Social Event Volunteer - help serve other families during social events scheduled on session days.
  • Recruiter - Help spread the word at your school about BYSC making sure flyers get posted and distributed to classrooms.
  • Other - let us know what your talents and interests are and we'll find a way for you to help the club.
