BYSC Coaching Staff

BYSC Names Adds Three Permanent Coaching Roles

Effective September 1, BYSC welcomes Director of Coaching Brian Jungwirth, Director of Player Development Recreational Through U11 James See and Director of Player Development U12-U19 Eric Johnson to permanent roles on its coaching staff.

The addition of three new coaching leadership roles is a change in BYSC's coaching leadership model. Previously, the club had only a director of coaching who was responsible for all coaching and player development responsibilities. When the club's DOC resigned in February, Brian, James and Eric (along with Rachel Loftus) stepped forward to fill the void created by the departure of our previous DOC Sean McKuras.

During the last six months, this team has worked very hard in coordination with the club's Board of Directors and staff to ensure that our spring/summer seasons were a success for our member families. In addition to providing continuing opportunities for our coaching staff and players to continue their development, this group, and the club's board of directors, worked hard to ensure the programs were fiscally responsible.

Parents, players, coaches and staff voiced strong support in the work done by Brian, Eric, James and Rachel over the last six months. We are excited to have them on staff in permanent roles and are confident they will continue to help BYSC offer programs that develop strong soccer players and quality young people who continue to have fun playing soccer.
