Kickers Offers A Great Introduction To Soccer

BYSC's spring/summer Kickers Program offers families a great introduction to the sport of soccer Saturday mornings:

  • April 29
  • May 6, 13, 20
  • June 10, 17, 24

PreK and K age groups play from 9 to 10am and all older age groups play 10:15 to 11:15am at Kelly Field.

(note in event of rain, we move to the next day, Sundays at the same location with PreK & K from 1 to 2pm and all older grades 2:15 to 3:15pm)

  • open to all preK - 3rd grade (fall 2017) boys and girls
  • no soccer experience required
  • $80 registration fee
  • weekly hour-long session with technical training and game play
  • sessions led by parent trainers and BYSC trained staff
  • free jersey and season-end awards
  • players can request friends on their roster
  • families encouraged to socialize and contribute to sessions
  • weekly post-session activities encouraged to be determined by families

How can I help?

Our Kicker's Program features a combination of staff trainer and parent led activities. We could use your help to make your family's soccer experience the best possible. You can volunteer for any of the positions below by emailing us.

Looking For Parent Volunteers

Volunteer Positions:

  • Parent Trainer - lead the training portion of the soccer activity. Those that have played or coached soccer are encouraged to learn more about this opportunity. Training and lesson plans for each week are provided by the club's Director of Coaching.
  • Team Manager - manage the flow of players in and out of the game and serve as point of contact for parents on your team. Optional training provided by club.
  • Social Event Volunteer - help serve other families during social events scheduled on game days.
  • Greeter - Work the welcome table at the field entrance prior to one week's games.
  • Recruiter - Help spread the word at your school about BYSC making sure flyers get posted and distributed to classrooms.
  • Other - let us know what your talents and interests are and we'll find a way for you to help the club.
