BYSC Overview
The BYSC Kickers program offers soccer training and in-house league experiences for Pre-K thru fifth grade (U10) boys and girls. The Bloomington United (Traveling) program serves U9 thru U19 age players, while providing the opportunity for teams to participate in a higher competitive level against teams from other communities and clubs. |

Girls U15C1 WINS in the Dakota REV Tournament!!!
The girls U15C1 team played in and won the Dakota REV tournament, during the weekend of May 9-11, 2008. The girls won their pool with a recored of 3-0, beating Eastside St. Paul Storm 2-1, Elk River Three Rivers Legacy 2-0, St. Paul Blackhawks United 3-1. They played and won a tough championship game vs. St. Paul Blackhawks United 2-1. CONGRATULATIONS to the team!!!!! |

Girls U16C3 Takes Second Place in the Dakota REV Tournament!
The girls U16C3 team played in and took second place in the Dakota REV tournament, during the weekend of May 10-11, 2008. GREAT tournament girls!!!!!

Boys U11C3 Wins the Dakota REV Tournament!!
The boys U11C3 team played in and won the Dakota REV tournament, during the weekend of May 3-4, 2008. The boys won their bracket with a recored of 2-0-1 and won a hard fought championship game vs. Minnetonka 5-2. CONGRATULATIONS to the team!!!!! |

Girls U14C2 SoccerBlast CHAMPS!!
The U14C2 Girls team played in Session III (Feb. - March 2008) at the SoccerBlast Indoor League and had a great season. In the championship game, they were down 2 with 5 minutes to go before getting their first score. The tying goal was made with 20 seconds left in regulation. The winning goal was scored 15 seconds into the overtime period. NICE job Bombers!!!!!!

Bloomington Youth Soccer Club KICKERS announces summer programs 2008.
Kickers Summer Soccer Program
The BYSC Kickers Summer Recretional Soccer Program is for players aged 4-12. Players aged 4-7 have a 30-minute practice, followed by a 30-minute game. Players aged 8-12 have one-hour practice each week and a one-hour game on Sunday.
Kickers Accelerated Development Camp
The Kickers Accelerated Development Camp offer players a training program focusing on individual player development. Technical skills covered include dribbling, trapping, 1 v 1 skills, and advanced training. This training is camp is for players U5-U12, and can be done in conjunction with the Kickers Summer Program.
Training is conducted by Sean McKuras, BYSC Director of Player Development and University of Wisconsin-River Falls Head Women's Soccer Coach.

You can always mail the registration froms to BYSC as well.
PLEASE NOTE: Registrations received after 5/4/08 will not be gauranteed a t-shirt the first week.

We need your experience and skills to fill the Fields & Equipment Director, Secretary and U9-U12 Girls Commissioner. See position descriptions below and contact us at 952.941.8581 or
if you need additional information or have interest in any of the listed positions.
Fields & Equipment Director: This is a volunteer Board elected position who manages field and game scheduling; field set-up, maintenance and closing; equipment inventories and distribution; attends Park & Rec meetings to represent BYSC interests and manages related communications and policies with MYSA, City of Bloomington and others as needed. Requires attendance/participation at monthly BYSC Board meetings.
Secretary: This is a volunteer Board elected position. The Secretary positon to keep the minutes of the annual and special meetings, mantain records of the Board, sending meeting announcements. Requires attendance/participation at monthly NYSC Board meetings. |
